Dr Peter Bernius, MD

Starting in April 2026, I will be joining the team at the Aschau Pediatric Orthopedic Clinic. I am very much looking forward to contributing my experience in pediatric orthopedics and neuroorthopedics there and working with the team to further develop the range of specialized treatments.

For many years, I have been working on minimally invasive surgical procedures for children with neuro-orthopedic conditions—particularly muscle shortening and spasticity, such as those associated with cerebral palsy. My goal is to sustainably improve the function, mobility, and quality of life of young patients through surgical techniques that are as gentle as possible.

The Aschau Pediatric Orthopedic Clinic offers a highly specialized environment and a dedicated interdisciplinary team for this purpose. I am very much looking forward to this collaboration and to working together to bring new approaches to the treatment of neuro-orthopedic conditions.
